About Us
The City of Lincoln remains in the forefront of economic growth and development associated with being one of the fastest growing cities in the State of California. During the past year the Lincoln Police Department has implemented new and innovative programs to keep pace with the rapid development in the City and surrounding region. The department is in the process of moving forward with the latest technological advances in order to provide our community with the best level of customer service possible. At the same time we have rededicated our mission to provide “Professional Law Enforcement as a Community Service” with Neighborhood Officers in a Home Town approach to Community Oriented Policing.
In 2006 the City of Lincoln experienced a 23% population increase in our residential community. This pattern of growth is expected to slow somewhat but with continuing growth into the foreseeable future. With that growth forecast in mind, the City of Lincoln has experienced a decrease of 22% in traffic collisions; violent crimes have shown significant decreases while property crimes have risen. Over all the City of Lincoln reportable Part One Crime index has shown a decrease of 23%.
The Lincoln Police will continue to provide quality services to the residents of our community with the level of professionalism and dedication our citizens have come to expect.
