Child Fingerprinting & ID A child Identification Kit is a record of a child’s personal identifying information, such as fingerprints, a recent photo, DNA, Medical information and dental information. The kit may be obtained at the Lincoln Police Department or at several of the community events each year. There is no charge for this service. Every parent/guardian should have this record on hand to assist the police, should your child become lost or missing. This information can assist law enforcement and save crucial time, should it become necessary to search for your child. The kit is not filed or maintained at the Lincoln Police Department.
